HI, MY NAME IS MADISON SCHRAW!
I’ve been a storyteller for as long as I can remember, starting with casting my cousins in very serious (and very mandatory) childhood plays about turkeys and the color pink. That love of storytelling eventually led me out of Nashville, Tennessee, and to the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I earned my BFA in Film and Television and decided to stick around for my MFA in Dramatic Writing. Along the way, I’ve written, directed, and produced several short films, including Lac-Date (Nashville Film Festival, Austin Comedy Film Festival) and my capstone, Real as the Moon Landing.
I believe laughs and meaning can coexist, and I aim to create stories that feel real and silly enough that people can remember the world’s not all that bad.
Outside of my work, I particularly enjoy reading, making sourdough bread, watching sitcoms with my fiancé, Nathan, frolicking with my miniature dachshund, Hercules, and drinking IZZE Sparkling Blackberry juice (yes, I have a monthly subscription).
